Wellington Home Birth Association
The Arrival of AnnaMy due date was the 11th of October, 2009.
By the morning of the 22nd I was over it - I'd been up most of the night, and the night before that. Contractions had been 5 mins apart for all of that time but the midwives assured me that I was not in "proper" labour yet and should just rest - great advice, but I just couldn't keep still long enough to sleep.... |
Birth of JordanI'm being a bit of a lazy mummy today, I am still in bed but that’s okay because I have you asleep next to me and I cant help gazing at you wondering what's going through that little head of yours. Its been a long 9 months getting you here and I loved you from the moment I knew you were growing inside my tummy, very often I would lay in bed rubbing my growing tummy and be overwhelmed by the love I felt for you and shed a tear or two of joy....

Madison's BirthJust like your brother your due date has been and gone, so you are officially late young lady, that unfortunately you get from me as your daddy is always on time. Thanks to mummys snoring your daddy is sleeping on the couch so he can get some sleep and go to work in the morning, at about 4.30 I woke up with some cramp like pains and wondered if they would turn into contractions, I laid there for an hour listening to the rain waiting to see what would happen....
